Conveyancing

The Conveyancing Department of Christopher M. Edwards, Solicitors & Accountants, has a staff of six employees and together they have many years of practical experience in conveyancing. It is the policy of the firm to employ wherever possible, local people who have a comprehensive knowledge of the Hawkesbury area.

The department handles transactions in the following areas

Our firm offers competitive rates for all conveyancing transactions.

The practice is a “dual practice”, being both a Solicitors and Accountants office, and we also have the added advantage of having a “sister” firm, in Richmond Corporation Pty. Ltd, who specialise in providing obligation free financial advice and assistance.

We at Christopher M. Edwards have the ability to liase with other Departments within the firm, together with the finance arm of the firm, to ensure a smooth transaction with attention to detail. This aspect is particularly important for our clients who require investment advice or superannuation advice in order that their real estate transaction provide them with the desired result. We have specialist accountants who deal in the areas of negative gearing and superannuation who can offer expert advice in these fields.

The firm has identified a clear need within our client base to have in place sufficient personnel with experience to be able to take conveyancing transactions not only in New South Wales, but also in Queensland, from initial instructions right through to settlement. It is the aim of the Conveyancing Department to ensure that all matters handled are brought to a satisfactory conclusion in a timely and efficient manner, thereby providing our clients with stress free and cost effective transactions.

Further, where possible, the firm utilises the services of local businesses to provide pest and building reports and any other services. This helps to keep “locals” employed.

For any enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact any of our friendly staff who will be only too happy to discuss any issue relating to conveyancing with you.
